Convictions for unlicensed work

Consumer and Business Services has secured a conviction and a $31,000 fine against a builder who worked outside scope, called for payments before performing work and did not take out the necessary insurance.

The Adelaide Magistrates’ Court last week fined 51-year old Domenic Zinghini of Rostrevor $31,105 for taking $50,000 in prepayments as part of a verbal contract.
