• Apply dispute resolution processes to building works
• Conservation of the environment
• Employment and professional liability
• Conditions of the contract, including approvals & financial matters are met
• Apply industrial relations policies & obligations relevant to housing construction

Manage Small Business Finances in the Building & Construction Industry

• Implement financial plan
• Monitor financial performance
• Planning, directing and controlling tasks, people and resources in a business organisation
• Marketing plan
• Determining resources that need to be hired, leased or purchased
• Determining the requirements for temporary structures and facilities
• Establishing and operating costing systems
• Preparing and evaluating tenders
• Plan the sequencing of trades

PREREQUISITES:
Sufficient understanding of English literacy and numeracy.

4 x full-day sessions over two weekends, plus additional reading and assessment activities
