BlueScope is pleased to announce the launch of the new COLORBOND steel Studio, giving architects and designers the freedom to realise your design vision like never before.
The COLORBOND® steel Studio is designed to showcase colours and finishes in the one location making the inspiration and selection process as smooth as possible.
Be inspired with over 200 colours and finishes across the colour spectrum.
The COLORBOND® steel Studio portal allows you to pinpoint the right colour and product for your next project by matching a colour using RGB or HEX colour values; by matching or specifying the Dulux or RAL colour names or even by uploading an image. Let the COLORBOND® steel Studio return the closest colour match within the library of colours available or search through our product categories and finishes, including COLORBOND® steel, COLORBOND® Ultra steel, COLORBOND® Metallic steel and COLORBOND® steel Matt. This means you can find the colour and finish for your next project with all the confidence of COLORBOND® steel.
COLORBOND® steel made by BlueScope is one of Australia’s most loved building products and with over 50 years since it first rolled off a paint-line, COLORBOND® steel has earned its position as an iconic Australian brand.
COLORBOND® steel Matt allows you to make stylish and defining design choices that create a softer, contemporary finish, whilst retaining the durability you’d expect from COLORBOND® steel.
COLORBOND® Ultra steel has been specifically designed to combine long-term durability and excellent corrosion resistance, making it suitable for severe marine environments1.
COLORBOND® Metallic steel is an ideal material for striking facades, design features and interior partitioning. It can complete and enhance many building designs using variations between vertical and horizontal planes, creating distinctive architectural features, or even playing with incidental lighting.
Tested for Australian Conditions:
COLORBOND® steel undergoes an extensive assessment program, to assess the product will perform through manufacturing, transport, storage, roll-forming and installation. Further to this COLORBOND® steel is tried and tested in laboratories and at outdoor exposure sites located in some of Australia’s harshest climates to assess the colour and gloss durability, and corrosion resistance, of COLORBOND® steel in various building applications.
As well as giving specifiers the opportunity to select colours and finish, the COLORBOND® steel Studio provides information about available warranties2 via the online warranty estimator tool all with a few clicks.
- COLORBOND® steel is backed by BlueScope, one of Australia’s largest manufacturers.
- BlueScope offers a variety of warranties1 subject to application and eligibility criteria. BlueScope warranties for COLORBOND® steel are available for up to 36 years, depending on the product category, end use and location of the build. If a warranty is issued, the warranty may cover:
- Corrosion to perforation (up to 36 years).
- Paint flake and peel (up to 20 years).
The period of the warranty is determined in consideration of the intended use of the end product and the location at which the end product will be used.
