This was an extremely competitive category to judge, but the winning entry for Concept Building and Renovations is truly deserving. The judges were impressed with the exceptional attention to detail throughout which skilfully modernised an existing villa using materials and design features that complemented the original charm of the building. Achieving consistent floor levels throughout was carefully managed and successful. The kitchen redesign was modern yet sympathetic and particularly innovative. The standard of construction was extremely high and the relationship with the client was excellent with the project being staged to minimise disruption.
