On 9 October, Master Builders SA held one of its signature events to honour apprentices who have successfully completed their qualifications, marking an important milestone in their professional journey.
The evening was also an opportunity to recognise some outstanding achievements from apprentices and from the host employers who play a part in supporting them through their journey.
The event reinforces the value of apprenticeship pathways through Born to Build and our GTO and promotes pride in what we do, a commitment to safety and quality, and the professionalism that apprentices bring to their trades.
Master Builders SA CEO Will Frogley said this is the second year the ceremony has been held, and it’s great to see the level of enthusiasm from the apprentice graduates and finalists as they embark on their next chapter.
“Completing an apprenticeship is an accomplishment. All the hard work sets you up for a wonderful, high-paying and rewarding career and I can’t wait to see where our graduates end up.
“There’s a lot of talk about AI driven job losses but a trade offers you really good protection from that. There’s a record number of construction businesses in South Australia right now and opportunities in our industry are extensive.”
