The Memorial Drive Tennis Centre project by SA Construct stands out due to its scale combined with its unique and complex design elements. The use of 3,000m2 of bespoke fabricated aluminium cladding and other materials to create a futuristic look is an impressive feat by SA Construct. The seamless integration of high and low level canopies, vertical and horizontal lines, all curved to complement the surrounding landscape, showcases exceptional creativity and ingenuity. The facade design, with its compound curvatures and prefabrication mimicking airplane wing design, highlights SA Construct’s innovation in overcoming manufacturing challenges. Their rigorous quality checks at six junctures of the manufacturing process for each of the 1800 individual panels, requiring precise hand-rolling, welding, preparation, powder-coating, and installation, underscores their attention to detail. SA Construct should be proud of their achievements on this outstanding project.
