Why did you become an apprentice?

I became an apprentice because I wasn’t really sure what I would do after school I tried a few other careers options before I got an apprenticeship in the building industry and I also took inspiration from my grandfather as he is also a wall and ceiling liner (now retired) I used to help him with a few jobs he had running at the time.

What do you enjoy most about your apprenticeship?

I really enjoy a lot of the problem solving in the average day and how there’s a lot of different ways of building. I also enjoy the physical aspect in my trade as a lot of the material can be a bit heavy and I’m always on my feet so it all keeps me active.

Would you recommend Master Builders SA apprenticeships to others and why?

I’ve only had really positive interactions with Master Builders since signing with them. Everyone is very friendly, knowledgeable and they will help you if you have any issues. I have recommended people sign up with them in the past and I will probably continue to recommend them to start their careers with Master Builders
