Why did you become an apprentice?
I became an apprentice because I hated the idea of being cooped up in an office all day. Being able to work outside and experience something new each day really appealed to me, as well as the reward of being able to see my hard work materialise into a final product I’m proud of.
What do you enjoy most about your apprenticeship?
So far the skills that I’ve been taught that I can use in every aspect of my life has been an amazing part of my apprenticeship, and I also love being able to have a laugh each day and enjoy socialising with the crew.
Would you recommend Master Builders SA apprenticeships to others and why?
I would definitely recommend Master Builders to others. Since day one of my apprenticeship they have shown me massive support, and I always feel listened to as well as taken seriously in my position.

Exceptional worker, fantastic communicator, gets along well with everyone and not afraid to do the hard stuff and get dirty. Host employer says she’s a gun and an excellent worker. Someone down to earth and enjoys doing carpentry. An overall well rounded apprentice and has the potential to go far.
