Why did you become an apprentice?

I chose to become an apprentice because I knew that I liked carpentry through school and knew that it could open up a variety of pathways in my future.

What do you enjoy most about your apprenticeship?

I enjoy being able to learn how to build different things every day, then taking a step back and being able to see what I have created and taking pride in what I do, all the while working with great people who have so many skills and talents that they are happy to share with me.

Would you recommend Master Builders SA apprenticeships to others and why?

I would recommend Master Builders because they have made the entire process so easy and have been incredibly hospitable to not only myself but all of my mates who have completed or are undertaking apprenticeships themselves. Master Builders are on top of every detail and through the use of their field coordinators manage to keep clear and constant communication with any questions or issues I have.

Tyler is very respectful, shows passion towards his trade and has a great work ethic. He keeps in-touch regularly, listens well and takes everything on board when doing so. Feedback from the host is always good, he is punctual and enthusiastic when onsite. He has great potential to go far in his career.
