What is a Master Builders SA Apprenticeship
An apprenticeship is a learning pathway that usually runs for four years, and can be through a direct employer or a Group Training Organisation such as Master Builders SA.
Master Builders SA Apprentices employs apprentices and places them with Host Employers who are professional trades people in their field looking for an apprentice. We look after our apprentices by providing them with the following services:
- Complete a Contract of Training with you and meet the obligations outlined in the Contract as your employer.
- Continuity of employment throughout the apprenticeship.
- Managing and monitoring the arrangements with your Host Employer.
- Providing care and support throughout your apprenticeship.
Benefits of being a Master Builders Apprentice
There are benefits to being a Master Builders SA Apprentice. Apprentices can take comfort in the knowledge they are signed as employees of Master Builders SA under a Contract of Training and are placed with qualified “Host Trainers”.
The term of Contract of Training is typically 4 years for an Apprenticeship and 2 years for a trainee.
The Host Trainers will work with apprentices to increase their on job skills, experience and knowledge base while the apprentice gains a nationally recognised trade qualification. Master Builders SA Apprentices may be placed with a Host Trainer for any period between 1 week and 4 years.
