Project: Kirra 30
The Kirra 30 by Metricon Homes is a well-designed home that makes excellent use of a narrow corner allotment. A very high standard of workmanship and internal and external finishes is notable throughout, all achieved at an exceptional value for money price for a large two-storey home. Project: Lloyd 25
The Lloyd 25 by Australian Building Company is an attractive and practical design for affordable family living that provides excellent value for money. The builder achieved a high and consistent standard of finishes and attention to detail that was obvious throughout the home. Congratulations Australian Building Company.

ROKSOLID CONSTRUCTION
Project: Kingston Park
Roksolid Construction are to be commended on the high- quality construction of these three dwellings. All feature outstanding workmanship with significant “wow factor”. This is a very impressive project with meticulous attention to detail throughout. Roksolid also overcame numerous site challenges throughout the build. FUSCO CONSTRUCTIONS
Project: Kids Undercover
Fusco Constructions worked extremely well with their client Kids Undercover to develop an accommodation solution and construction concept that is both affordable and easy to assemble. The panelised system produced temporary housing with a surprisingly high-quality finish that is very liveable. Fusco are to be commended on the design of the kit form, delivering this project on time, at a cost-effective price and of a high standard.

PACKERS
Project: Crafers
The project brief for this high-end residential project located in the Adelaide Hills, included specific and exacting details. Both the homes owners and head contractor, Quigley Building were extremely happy with, and complimentary of Packers. Of note, was that all materials and glazing was sourced and manufactured locally in Adelaide. Given the hills location, all windows were double glazed to achieve BAL and energy efficiency ratings. The Packers team was also able to overcome any challenges associated with the sloping hills site. Overall, the judges were most impressed with the custom designed and built windows that demonstrate a very high level of workmanship and detailing. Congratulations Packers on a well-deserved win.

HICRETE PRECAST SA
Hicrete Precast was nominated several times by many builders as a top performing trade contractor. Their work on Synergy Construct’s GSA Student Accommodation project was very complex. The load bearing precast exoskeleton was not only structurally demanding but was the main architectural feature of the building with curved expanding and then tapering panels. The accuracy in the manufacturing and installation alignment required to achieve this result relied not only on precision design, surveying, and installation techniques, but a high level of skill from the precast manufacturer. Hicrete Precast demonstrated a high level of integrity in the way they managed the entire process.

BUILT SURFACES
Project: Greek Orthodox Church
Built Surfaces was a standout winner in this category. Their attention to detail, commitment to service and exceptional trade knowledge and skills were outstanding. To avoid any potential mistakes, they dry laid the entire mosaic floor
before commencing adhesive fixing. The team was able to overcome every challenge thrown their way to deliver an extremely high level of workmanship that will prevail for generations to come.The judges were impressed with how well Built Surfaces assisted other contractors on site, while also working closely with the Church Parish. It appears nothing was too much for this contractor, even going so far as manufacturing individual mosaic pieces by hand to replace missing corners. The judges stated that it was refreshing to see such commitment and trade excellence.

HINDMARSH PLUMBING SERVICES
Project: Modbury Hospital Upgrade
This project required Hindmarsh Plumbing to install a $4 million Hydraulics Package. The team faced several challenges, the most significant of which, was working around the stringent constraints of a fully operating major hospital. There was no time lost to injury, which the head contractor recognised by presenting the team with a safety award. Hindmarsh Plumbing’s internal design team worked closely with project managers to provide design advice and identify cost- effective solutions. The overall standard of their work was exemplary. Congratulations Hindmarsh Plumbing on a job well done.
